Singapore Stay

We stayed at Hotel Indigo in the Katong area of Singapore, away from the hustle and bustle of the major sights. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance of this hotel, plus it's just a short drive to downtown. The room was spacious, with a great view. The service was great, too; they even provided a special early morning breakfast for guests observing Ramadan!(for example, my boyfriend:)

This hotel has a rooftop pool that offers food and drinks, which is always a nice feature. Breakfast was included daily at the restaurant downstairs, with unlimited options to order off the menu or choose from the buffet. 

I loved the decor throughout the hotel and in the room, especially the beautiful tiled shower and toilet areas! The foot bath set-up they provided was so adorable and very soothing after a long day of exploring the city by foot!

We used Uber quite a bit during our trip; the prices were very reasonable, no matter where we went. Singapore is pretty small, so you can get all the way across the city in a half hour or 45 minutes. We did a lot of walking too, but when we wanted to save time this service was very useful. 

Hotel Indigo provided us with a smart phone and a charging port on the bedside table. I was able to access Uber, the phone and the internet while out and about. This was a life saver! It gave me peace of mind and it helped us find all the places on our list!
