Harry Potter Sorcery in Singapore

I was perusing the internet before my trip to Singapore when I came across a post about their fairly new Harry Potter themed café, Platform 1094. I LOVE me some magic, so I put it on my list of things to do.

The café's exterior is inconspicuous; muggles walking by would never suspect the wizardry within. We went on a Sunday and, to our surprise, it wasn't crowded at all! We lucked out by going on the first day of Eid, which is a big deal in any Muslim city. From what I've heard it can get really busy, so getting a reservation is suggested.

The décor was Harry Potter everything: stags on all the chairs, well thought-out signs, wall decor and menus. The servingware was fit for the great hall, with soup in black goblets and water in golden mugs.

The blue curacao was a little too sweet for my liking, but it was worth it for the novelty of it! Once your drink is ignited(thanks to your server), you can make the flame bigger by sprinkling cinnamon on the top...photo opp! Too much cinnamon will make this undrinkable, so go easy!

The restaurant provides a coat rack and a shelf full of props to use and wear during your experience! We were fully equipped with wands, witch hats, glasses, ties, owls, scarves, broomsticks and cloaks. We also loved interacting with the other patrons because we were all there for the same reason: to have a magical time!
