Singapore Favorites!
I saved some of my favorite spots for last!
Singapore Botanic Gardens:
These grounds were SO impressive and fun to explore. Little foot paths circled around beautiful ponds, trees and gardens of all kinds. My favorite ones were the Orchid Garden and the Fragrant Garden. I never even knew all the colors orchids could be! The sweet, delicious scents of the Fragrant Garden were simply divine. There was also a Healing Garden full of herbs and information for health and wellness. Most of the gardens are accessible free of charge, the Orchid Garden costed $5. The Botanical Garden is a place you could enjoy, even if you were on a budget. I could've spent forever in this slice of paradise, reading a book, journaling or watching the turtles float around. There's also a performance area; if I get the opportunity to return to Singapore I would defintely want to go back there for an evening concert!
1-Altitude:
There's a pretty hefty cover charge to get into this club, but it's the highest alfresco(open-air) bar in the world with a 360-degree view of Singapore. I would suggest going during happy hour for the sunset(I think cover and drinks are cheaper before 8 too!)
Haji Lane & Arab Street:
These areas are amazing to stumble upon! The shops, colors, restaurants and energy make these streets worth seeing. I also heard that Chinatown is great for souvenirs, but we didn't make it over there (this time).
