Saint John Stills Needs Our Help After Hurricane Irma

Saint John holds a very special place in my heart.

I went on a vacation to visit my friend while she was working at Maho Bay Camps in Saint John back in 2010. I lost my job a few months later, so I applied to volunteer there in exchange for room and board in paradise for 5 weeks. I could hear the waves crash against the shore as I fell asleep each night. I met incredible people and I made some of my favorite memories to date.

Maho Bay Camps has since closed, but the love is still there. They don't call Saint John "Love City" for nothin'! My 5 week stay at Maho Bay Camps, an eco-friendly "campground" resort, was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It changed my life.

Saint John still needs our help after Hurricane Irma! Most have moved on and forgotten, but I haven't.
